Withdrawal sleeves can be used to mount bearings with a tapered bore onto the cylindrical seat of stepped shafts. The sleeve is pressed into the bore of the bearing inner ring, which abuts a shaft shoulder or similar fixed component. The sleeve is located on the shaft by a nut or an end plate. KM or HM lock nuts with appropriate locking devices are suitable. Lock nuts are not supplied with the sleeve and must be purchased separately.

The original intention of the adapter sleeve and the withdrawal sleeve is to facilitate the installation and disassembly of the bearing, improve the efficiency, and reduce the maintenance cost of the machine. In basic terms, the adapter sleeve is used for easy installation, and the withdrawal sleeve is used for convenient removal. And the use of withdrawal sleeves and adapter sleeves can achieve the effect of adjusting the internal clearance.
