The Mitutoyo mechanical interchangeable-rod type inside micrometer provides the ability to take a wide range of high accuracy inside dimensions with a single micrometer head.

Features & Benefits

The Mitutoyo interchangeable rod inside micrometer makes measuring inside dimensions of different ranges of cylinders, rings and parallel surfaces faster and easier.  The micrometer head is constructed with precision, balance and durability in mind. The sizes of interchangeable rods can be adjusted with spacing collars, and an extension rod allows for measurements of deep bores and holes.

  • Available in Metric and Inch models
  • Some models are available with carbide measuring surfaces for lasting accuracy and durability
  • Optional setting rings for zero point adjustment are available
  • Each interchangeable rod is marked with its measuring range
  • Both micrometer head and furnished rods are satin-chrome throughout
  • Scale on thimble and sleeve is laser etched for easier reading in all conditions
  • Supplied in a fitted plastic case
